Mumbai record five-wicket win

The Mumbai Indians defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in the Indian Premier League this evening.

The Knight Riders opened the batting in Kolkata and while none of their batsmen were able to make a big score, four of their top five managed to score more than 25 runs apiece.

South African Jacques Kallis topscored with 37 from 38 deliveries, while England's Eoin Morgan added 31 before he was bowled out by Mitchell Johnson.

In reply, opener Dwayne Smith brought the Mumbai Indians into contention with a knock of 62 runs before Sunil Narine claimed his wicket.

The middle order of Rohit Sharma (34) and Kieron Pollard (33) kept the home side's score ticking over and when they required two runs from two balls, Ambati Rayudu found the boundary to secure the win.
