Vikram Banerjee leaves Gloucestershire

Left-arm spinner Vikram Banerjee has left Gloucestershire with immediate effect.

The Bradford-born bowler has been with the county since 2006 but has not been offered a new deal at Nevil Road.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of county cricket and feel proud to have given my all to GCCC," the 27-year-old told the county's official website.

"I wish the squad all the best and I am now looking forward to challenges of a different kind."

Banerjee has played for Buckinghamshire in the Minor Counties Championships this year.
