Marcus Trescothick has been named as the Professional Cricketers Association's Player of the Year for the third time.

The former England opener had previously won the award in 2000 and 2009.

The Somerset batsman guided his county to two one-day finals this season, which they both lost.

Meanwhile, Nottinghamshire's Alex Hales was named Young Player of the Year and Mark Ramprakash won the Player of the Decade trophy.
