Surrey promoted to Division One

Surrey have been promoted to Division One of the County Championship after securing victory over Derbyshire.

Under the guidance of captain Rory Hamilton-Brown, Surrey defeated their visitors at the Kia Oval by an innings and 126 runs.

Indian bowler Pragyan Ohja was Surrey's most productive performer, claiming six wickets on the final day.

The Lions, who were relegated into Division Two in 2008, have won the Championship on 18 separate occasions.
