Report: ICC investigate 12 players over match-fixing

The International Cricket Council are reportedly investigating 12 cricketers from around the globe in relation to suspected match-fixing.

The players are believed to have been targeted as part of a wide-ranging probe, which was launched after ex-New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent provided evidence.

According to The Telegraph, one English county player and a former Pakistan international are expected to be charged with failing to report a corrupt approach.

The report claims that those under investigation are suspected of fixing a match or failing to report an illegal approach to the authorities.

A match between Lancashire and Durham in June 2008 is reportedly one contest that is being looked into by anti-corruption detectives.
