Kevin Pietersen has signed a deal to play for the St Lucia Zouks in this year's Caribbean Premier League.
It will be the second season in a row that Pietersen has turned out for St Lucia in the Twenty20 competition, and it casts more doubt on his future in English county cricket.
The 34-year-old's deal with Surrey expired last year, and there has been no news from either the player or club on whether a return to The Oval is a possibility.
Surrey recently secured a deal to sign Kumar Sangakkara, which means that another big-money move is unlikely.
Somerset are rumoured to be interested in Pietersen, who will be in the Caribbean in June and July with the Zouks.
