Lancashire head coach Peter Moores has put pen to paper on a fresh two-year deal with the county champions.
The former England coach revealed his delight in securing a future with the domestic side after leading them to the title in their third season in the top division.
"I am really pleased to commit to Lancashire in what is a very exciting time for the club," said Moores. "Since arriving here the players and staff have been fantastic and I have enjoyed my time immensely. I am looking forward to working with everyone at the club over the coming years to try and build on the success of last season."
Moores will remain at Old Trafford until 2014.
