Hampshire relegated from Division One

Hampshire have been relegated from Division One of the County Championship.

The Rose Bowl-based county's fate was sealed when they failed to secure maximum batting points against Warwickshire earlier today.

Hants began the day on 57-0, but their hopes of survival were ended when they were bowled out for 324.

Hampshire join Yorkshire, who were demoted from the top division yesterday.
