Andrew Gale out for the season with broken arm

Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a broken arm.

The 27-year-old missed Sunday's Clydesdale Bank 40 defeat to Derbyshire and an X-ray has now confirmed that the skipper will be out of action for several weeks.

"Broken arm, gutted. These things happen though," Gale said on his Twitter account.

Gale has averaged 40.47 in 12 Yorkshire matches this season.
