The ECB have decided to delay the announcement of the England squad for the tour to India this November.
Coach Andy Flower had originally stated that he wanted the travelling party to be finalised this Thursday.
However, reports have now claimed that no decision will be made over who is in the squad until next Tuesday.
It is believed that the decision has been put back as discussions between Kevin Pietersen and the ECB continue over the 32-year-old's international future.
A resolution to those talks is likely to be reached by the weekend.
