Durham head coach Geoff Cook has revealed that he is ready to return to coaching after recovering from a heart attack.
The 62-year-old, whose side won the County Championship this year, was in critical condition last June, but Cook has insisted that he wants to resume his duties next season.
"I feel absolutely, 100% fine and now I'm looking forward to getting back into cricket," Cook told BBC Newcastle. "Obviously what happened came as a real shock to my family, but cricket's in my blood and I'm planning for next year."
Cook returned to work in August in a restricted role.
