Hungary have clinched the gold medal in the final of the women's kayak four 500m final, while Great Britain finished in fifth at Eton Dorney.

The Hungarians blasted out of the blocks and took an early lead in the water, with Portugal and Belarus not far behind.

Great Britain quartet Jess Walker, Rachel Cawthorn, Louisa Sawers and Angela Hannah had a lot to do in the early stages of the race but couldn't force through a challenge for a medal.

Belarus kept up the pressure to claim bronze, while Germany made a late surge to clinch the silver medal and a spot on the podium.
