Rookies agree Philadelphia 76ers deals

First-round Draft picks Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel have signed contracts with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Carter-Williams was selected by the team with the 11th overall pick earlier this year, averaging 14 points for the Sixers during the Orlando Pro Summer League.

Noel was originally picked by the New Orleans Pelicans, but was traded to Philadelphia as part of the deal for Jrue Holliday.

The 76ers missed out on a place in the playoffs last season.
