NBA All-Star Game 2015 starters announced

The NBA announces the results of the NBA All-Star Game voting, with Stephen Curry receiving the most votes of any player in the league.

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry received the most votes of any player in the NBA to play in the All-Star Game 2015.

Curry surged beyond LeBron James in the final ballot voting and he was thankful for all the support that he has received from across the league.

"This means a lot; it's something that I don't take for granted," Curry said in a statement.

"To have support of fans not only in the Bay Area but across the nation and across the world, supporting not only myself but our team, it means a lot. I want to represent the Warriors the best way I know how, every single game, and will do that proudly in New York thanks to the fans and their votes."

Curry will be joined by Kobe Bryant, Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin and Marc Gasol in the Western Conference lineup, although Bryant's injury could force a change.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Conference lineup will consist of Kyle Lowry, John Wall, Carmelo Anthony, James and Pau Gasol.
