Memphis Grizzlies confirm new Quincy Pondexter deal

The Memphis Grizzlies have confirmed that Quincy Pondexter has signed a contract extension.

It had been expected that the guard and forward would pen a new deal before last night's deadline for 2010 first-round Draft picks.

The 25-year-old averaged 6.4 points per game last season, and 8.9 during the playoffs.

While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, it has been reported that the extension will keep Pondexter with the team for a further four seasons.
