Parsons "offended" by Rockets

Chandler Parsons has revealed that he feels "offended" by the Houston Rockets ahead of signing a three-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Houston declined the right to match Dallas's offer and allowed Parsons to leave, and that has left the 25-year-old disappointed with the lack of faith the organisation had in him.

"Honestly, I was offended by the whole process. They publicly said that they were going out looking for a third star when I thought they had one right in front of them. I guess that's just how they viewed me as a player," Parsons said, ESPN reports.

Parsons conceded that he was delighted with the way in which Dallas made their interest clear, and hopes to be an integral part of their roster next season.
