James Harden: 'Houston Rockets will be better next year'

Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden says that the team want to come back better next year after being knocked out of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors.

James Harden has said that the Houston Rockets are already thinking about trying to be better next year after losing the Western Conference finals.

The Rockets suffered a 104-90 defeat in game five against the Golden State Warriors, leaving them with a 4-1 series loss.

The shooting guard told ESPN: "Tried to do a little bit too much and turned the ball over and gave them easy baskets in transition. This isn't where we wanted to end at. It's a really good season for us. Next year we want to be better, and we will."

The Rockets have not reached the NBA Finals since winning back-to-back titles in 1995.
