Dwight Howard set to return from injury for the Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are close to welcoming back centre Dwight Howard from injury.

The 29-year-old has missed the last 23 games due to swelling in his right knee, but he hinted that his return is imminent.

Howard told reporters: "I had a good eight weeks of really training and working on my body and mentally I feel good, physically I feel great so I can't wait to get back on the floor."

The Rockets have lost eight of the 23 games that Howard has missed.
