Greg Halman killed, brother arrested

Seattle Mariners outfielder Greg Halman has been stabbed to death in Rotterdam and his brother has been arrested as a suspect, Dutch police confirmed earlier today.

A police spokeswoman revealed that officers were called to a home in the port city this morning where they discovered Halman bleeding with a stab wound.

The attending officers attempted to resuscitate the 24-year-old but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Halman's 22-year-old brother, who has not been named, is now being questioned by police.
