Usain Bolt turns his attention to the 200m following his disqualification from the 100m.

Usain Bolt has vowed to put his disqualification in the 100m behind him and has turned his attentions to defending his 200m title at the World Athletics Championships.

The world record-holder was punished for a false start during yesterday's final, an outcome which allowed fellow Jamaican Yohan Blake to claim the gold medal in Daegu.

However, despite admitting that he was "extremely disappointed" to have lost his 100m crown, the 25-year-old has revealed that he will not "dwell" on the matter.

"I have to move on as there is no point to dwell on the past," Bolt told reporters.

"I have a few days to refocus and get ready for the 200m. I know that I am now in good shape and will focus on running well in the 200m."

The 200m heats take place on Thursday and Friday, while the final has been scheduled for Saturday.
