Farah will run in 5,000m

Great Britain's Mo Farah will run in the World Athletics 5,000m after being declared fit to race.

Farah won silver in the 10,000m event on Sunday, getting overtaken on the home straight by Ethiopian Ibrahim Jeilan.

The 28-year-old suffered blisters in the race but Team GB medical staff have given the Londoner the go-ahead to compete in the 5,000m.

If Farah makes it through to the final, he will go for his second medal of the Championships at 11.40 BST on Sunday.
