Dai Greene: "I'm the man to beat"

European and Commonwealth champion Dai Greene believes that he is "the man to beat" in Thursday's 400m hurdles final in Daegu.

The 25-year-old has revealed that he is confident ahead of the race and hopes that his fellow competitors are aware of the threat he poses.

"I know in the final I'll have the confidence," said the Great British athlete. "I hope that sends a message to the other guys.

"Perhaps they'll realise I am the man to beat in Thursday's final."

The Welshman clocked a time of 48.62 seconds in the semi-final and was the second fastest qualifier behind Puerto Rican Javier Culson.
