Dwain Chambers disqualified in semi-final

Dwain Chambers is disqualified from the 100m after a false start at the World Athletics Championships.

British sprinter Dwain Chambers is out of the 100m at the World Athletics Championships after being disqualified for a false start in the semi-final.

The 33-year-old told BBC Radio Five Live that he had no complaints over the decision.

"The gun went and I moved before it fired. It was unfortunate, but it was enough. Rules are rules," said Chambers.

The Belgrave Harriers runner has become the second British athlete to have suffered disqualification for a false start at the event after Christine Ohuruogu committed the same offence yesterday.
