Bolt false starts in 100m final

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has been disqualified from the 100m final at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu after a false start.

The 100m and 200m world record holder moved out of the blocks early before taking a few strides and ripping of his vest in frustration.

In Bolt's absence fellow countryman Yohan Blake claimed the gold, clocking a time of 9.93 seconds.

USA's Walter Dix took the silver, while 35-year-old Kim Collins finished with the bronze medal.
