Usain Bolt: 'Ashton Eaton is the greatest athlete'

Usain Bolt has admitted that Ashton Eaton is currently the best athlete in the world.

Many have given that tag to Jamaican sprinter Bolt, who claimed gold in both the 100m and 200m at the ongoing Olympic Games in London.

However, Bolt is adamant that Eaton deserves to be considered the greatest, particularly after seeing the American win Olympic gold in the decathlon last night.

"I'm a great athlete, but to do 10 events, especially the 1,500m, I have got to give it to him!" Bolt told reporters.

Eaton, 23, broke the world record in decathlon earlier this summer.
