Tiffany Porter, Cindy Ofili reach women's 100m hurdles final

Great Britain's Tiffany Porter and Cindy Ofili earn a place in the final of the women's 100m hurdles at the Olympic Games.

Great Britain's Tiffany Porter and Cindy Ofili have both earned places in the women's 100m hurdles final.

Porter - a bronze medallist at the 2013 World Championships - appeared to be on the way out of the competition after finishing in fourth position in the first semi-final.

However, neither of the third-place finishers in semi-final two or three registered a faster time, leaving the 28-year-old to gratefully take her spot in the final.

Ofili - Porter's younger sister - made lighter work of her semi-final as she eased through in second place to secure an automatic spot.

The final will take place later on Wednesday evening.
