Gemma Prescott wins bronze in women's club throw

Gemma Prescott has won bronze for Britain in the women's club throw F31/32/51.

Prescott threw an F32 class European record of 20.50m.

Tunisia's Maroua Ibrahimi threw a world record of 23.43m to take gold, while Mounia Gasmi of Algeria threw a personal best 22.51m to finish second.

The 28-year-old managed the distance on her third throw and could not improve on it despite good efforts of 19.41m and 20.17m.

Prescott will attempt to add to her medal in the women's shot put on Thursday.
