Great Britain's men's 4x100m relay team fail to get the baton around during this evening's semi-final.

Team GB's men's 4x100m relay squad failed to get the baton around the track legally this evening.

The baton changeovers between Christian Malcolm and Dwain Chambers and then Chambers and Danny Talbot went smoothly.

As Talbot approached Adam Gemili, who was due to run the final leg, the pair failed to exchange the baton before the yellow marker on the track and as a result they were disqualified.

Gemili still continued and took Britain over the line in second place, though it counted for nothing.

Jamaica won the race in 37.39s, while Canada and the Netherlands took second and third respectively.
