Dwain Chambers remains focused on the future

Chambers looking to future

Great Britain sprinter Dwain Chambers has said that he is focused on a "bright future", starting with his dream of competing at the London Olympics.

Chambers hopes that his controversial history can remain in the past and is targeting the upcoming Games as a fresh start.

"It's been well documented my past, but I'm just looking forward to a bright future," he said.

"My future starts at the 2012 Olympics. It's on home soil and that is great for the public to be able to witness and experience as well.

"My goal was to get here, but now it's become a dream come true."

Chambers has recently warned other athletes of the dangers of using performance-enhancing drugs.
