Yohan Blake equals third-fastest 100m

Yohan Blake has equalled the third-fastest ever time in the 100m at tonight's Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Jamaican posted a time of 9.69s to storm clear ahead of the pack and win the race.

The same time had previously been recorded by Blake's fellow countryman Usain Bolt at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Blake recently won a silver medal in the 100m at the London Games.
