Video: James Bond accompanies Queen to Olympics ceremony

The Queen declared the London Olympics officially open after making an exciting entrance at the Olympic Stadium.

The monarch appeared to parachute out of a helicopter with James Bond actor Daniel Craig before taking her place at the venue.

A film sequence, watched by around 80,000 at the stadium and millions around the world, showed Bond meeting the Queen before leaving for the opening ceremony in a helicopter.

The public cheers the Queen on as the chopper reaches the Olympic Stadium, where both she and Bond appear to parachute down.
