Wilson suspended after failing drugs test

British sprinter Bernice Wilson has been suspended from all competitions by United Kingdom Athletics after failing a drugs test.

UKA made the announcement on their official website, claiming that a sample taken at the Bedford International Games on June 12, 2011 tested positive for the anabolic steroids testosterone and clenbuterol.

Her provisional suspension came into effect on July 9, 2011.

The 27-year-old now has the opportunity to respond to the charge and is entitled to a full hearing of the case.
