Great Britain claim 17 medals at the European Junior Championships in Sweden to finish top of the final standings.

Great Britain have topped the medal table at this year's European Junior Championships in Sweden.

Team GB equalled their best tally of 11 golds and six silvers to finish above Russia in the final standings.

World junior champion Morgan Lake claimed victory in the high jump to become the first British woman to win the event.

There were also gold medals for 800m runner Kyle Langford, pole vaulter Adam Hague, 1500m runner Bobby Clay and the women's sprint and 4x400m relay teams.

Despite winning a record number of gold medals, Britain finished two behind their best haul of 19 from the 2013 Championships.
