British journalist Guy Adams has been suspended from using Twitter after hitting out at NBC for their coverage of the Olympics.
The reporter, who writes for The Independent, criticised the network after they decided against broadcasting the London Olympics opening ceremony live.
Adams also posted the email address of NBC's Olympics President Gary Zenkel, encouraging his readers to complain to the executives.
One of his tweets, which referred to the men's cycling road event on Saturday, read: "Am I alone in wondering why NBColympics think its acceptable to pretend this road race is being broadcast live?"
NBC, who nabbed the exclusive rights for the London 2012 Games, decided to air events at prime time.
