Hungarian Krisztian Pars wins hammer throw gold

Krisztian Pars of Hungary has won gold in the men's hammer throw.

The 30-year-old Hungarian won with a throw of 80.59m on his third attempt.

Former Olympic champion Primoz Kozmus of Slovenia took silver with a season's best throw of 79.36m.

Koji Murofushi of Japan took bronze with 78.71m, also a season's best.

Great Britain's Alexander Smith finished twelfth with a throw of 72.87m.
