Pozzi misses out in 110m hurdles final

England's Andrew Pozzi has missed out on a medal in the men's 110m hurdles final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The 25-year-old - who was crowned world indoor champion over 60m in Birmingham earlier this year - failed to carry that form out to the Gold Coast, crossing the line in sixth place with a time of 13.53s.

A mistake at the first hurdle proved costly for Pozzi as he never managed to recover, with Jamaican duo Ronald Levy and Hansle Parchment taking gold and silver respectively.

Levy recorded a time of 13.19s to pip his compatriot to the top of the podium, with Parchment crossing the line just 0.03s behind.

Australia's Nicholas Hough produced a personal-best time to claim a shock bronze, tearing through on the outside to beat Cypriot Milan Trajkovic to the podium in front of the home crowd.
