Danny Talbot to represent England in men's 200m final

Danny Talbot of England will compete in the men's 200m final at the Commonwealth Games, which will be littered with Jamaican athletes.

Danny Talbot of England will be the sole home nations representative in the men's 200m final at the Commonwealth Games tonight.

The first semi-final was hotly contested, as four athletes dipped at the line and it took a photo finish to separate the competitors.

After a few moments, it was declared to a delighted Hampden Park crowd that England's Talbot finished second, almost level with Jamaica's Jason Livermore.

Another Jamaican athlete, Warren Weir, won the second semi-final. Mosito Lehata of Lesotho finished second.

The Jamaican dominance continued in the third semi, with Rasheed Dwyer coasting to victory.
