Great Britain's Danielle Brown disappointed with archery score

Great Britain's Danielle Brown says that she is disappointed, despite scoring the highest total in the women's archery individual compound.

Great Britain's Paralympic archer Danielle Brown has expressed mixed feelings after topping the ranking rounds in the women's individual compound.

The 24-year-old scored the highest points total of 676, with Russia's Stepanida Artakhinova recording the second best round with a score of 672.

"I'm kind of miffed and mixed really," said Brown. "It's my worst score of the year, but I'm still on top. We all know it's the head-to-heads that count. I know the conditions were not great, but I don't want to make excuses."

The world record holder will be joined by compatriot Mel Clarke, who scored the third-highest points total, in the final.
