Great Britain lose in women's team archery last 16

Great Britain have missed out in the women's team archery event after they suffered a 5-3 defeat to Georgia at the last-16 stage.

The team of Naomi Folkard, Nicky Hunt and Amy Oliver had looked to be on their way towards the last four after opening up a 3-1 lead against their opponents.

That advantage came courtesy of a 1-1 draw in the opening set and a 2-0 win in the second, but Georgia struck back in the third with a score of four putting Team GB at a distinct advantage.

That left the overall score at 3-3 heading into the fourth set, but Georgia sealed victory by scoring 10 with their final shot compared to seven from Team GB.
