Kieran Slater, Dan Wallace fail to qualify for archery knockouts

Team GB archer Kieran Slater has failed to qualify for the round of 32 at the European Games in Baku.

Slater finished 42nd with a score of 645, seven points off the total needed to break into the top 32.

Meanwhile, Ireland's Dan Wallace achieved a score of 630 to finish 52nd.

Mauro Nespoli of Italy led the field, scoring 683.

The competition will continue on Saturday.
