Washington Redskins lose Silas Redd, Logan Paulsen for the 2015 season

The Washington Redskins announce that running back Silas Redd and tight end Logan Paulsen will miss the 2015 season after picking up serious injuries.

The Washington Redskins have confirmed that running back Silas Redd and tight end Logan Paulsen have been ruled out of the 2015 season.

Redd sustained a torn ACL and MCL during his side's pre-season win over the Cleveland Browns, while Paulsen suffered a toe injury in training camp, which requires surgery to repair.

Head coach Jay Gruden told reporters: "It's very unfortunate for Silas. He was having a good camp and making good progress."

The Redskins also lost tight end Niles Paul to a season-ending injury in their pre-season clash against the Browns.
