Robert Griffin III wants Tom Brady's advice

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III wants to seek the advice of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady when they practise together next week.

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has revealed that he wants to pick the brain of New England Patriots' Tom Brady when he arrives at the club for a training session.

The Redskins and the Patriots are joining practice sessions in Richmond, Virginia ahead of their pre-season match on Thursday, and Griffin is hopeful that he will be able to spend time with the three-time Super Bowl winner.

"If I get a chance to sit down and talk to him, I'd love to, just to pick his brain," Griffin told reporters.

"But he's also still playing quarterback in the NFL. It's a competitive position, a competitive sport. So I don't expect him to give me any groundbreaking secrets."

The Redskins posted a 4-12 record in the 2013 campaign.
