Tennessee Titans sign cornerback Perrish Cox on three-year deal

Free agent cornerback Perrish Cox has signed a three-year contract to join the Tennessee Titans.

The 28-year-old was allowed to leave the 49ers at the end of the 2014 season after two years with the club, and was sought by several teams on the free-agent market.

However, Cox decided to sign with Ken Whisenhunt's men, penning a deal worth up to $15m (£10.1m), which will keep him at the Titans until the end of the 2017 season.

Cox recorded 53 tackles and five interceptions for the 49ers last season.
