Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Jason Michael has revealed that quarterback Jake Locker has battled back hard from injury in the off-season.
The 26-year-old missed nine games for the Titans last season due to a Lisfranc injury he sustained in his side's defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, Michael has admitted that Locker has been working extremely hard in order to complete his first full season in the NFL after being drafted in 2011.
"From day one, he's worked his butt off from rehabilitation of his foot to jumping in the playbook, to how he's gone about his preparation on the field," Michael told the team's official website.
"It's been a frustrating go at times with his foot, but he's never shown it. He's a poised man. I'm excited about working with him. He does some good things that we've already seen."
Locker threw for 1,256 yards last season along with eight touchdowns to four interceptions.
