Doug Martin confident form will return

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin is confident that he can return to form in the coming weeks after a poor start to the 2014 season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin has revealed that he is close to finding his form in the 2014 season.

The 25-year-old has struggled since his return from a torn labrum injury that he sustained in the 2014 season, but Martin feels that he and his teammates are close to clicking on offense.

"Yeah, there's been times where it's definitely been close," he told the club's official website. "These guys work hard. They work their butts off in practice. Everyone [holds]each other accountable for this.

"We're going to get it going and I can't wait until it happens. [I'll] just continue what I do - just run the ball hard, follow my keys and just keep going hard like I do."

Martin has ran for 94 yards in three matches this season, scoring one touchdown.
