Buccaneers acquire Revis

Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired cornerback Darrelle Revis in a trade from the New York Jets.

Greg Schiano's team will send their 2013 first-round draft pick and conditional selection in the 2014 draft for the three-time All-Pro defensive back.

The 27-year-old, who is regarded as the best corner in the game, also signed a new six-year contract with the Bucs that is worth £63m ($96m).

Revis missed the majority of last season after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in a game against the Miami Dolphins.
