Les Snead: 'Sam Bradford will still be our starter'

St Louis Rams general manager Les Snead insists that quarterback Sam Bradford will be his side's starter going into next season.

St Louis Rams general manager Les Snead is adamant that his side's starting quarterback will be Sam Bradford next season.

Bradford was ruled out for the majority of the season with a torn ACL and has been inconsistent during his four years in the NFL.

With the Rams owning the second pick in the 2014 NFL Draft speculation emerged that they could use the pick on a replacement for the 26-year-old, something which Snead has denied.

"As we've said, Sam's our starting QB," Snead told the St Louis Post-Dispatch. "And maybe that's too way out of the box to take a QB that high."

Bradford had 14 touchdowns to four interceptions in the 2013 season in the seven games before his injury.
