St Louis Rams' Kenny Britt: "I've got a lot to prove"

St Louis Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt admits that he has not lived up to his potential in his first six years in the NFL.

St Louis Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt has conceded that he has let himself down during the first six years of his career in the NFL.

The 26-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2009 Draft by the Tennessee Titans, but Britt failed to live up to expectations as inconsistent play and off-the-field problems dogged his time with the AFC South side.

However, when head coach Jeff Fisher moved to the Rams he decided to give Britt another chance in the NFL, and after a solid first season with the NFC West side, the wideout has outlined his ambition to live up to his potential.

"There's definitely more I feel like I can give because there's more that I want to give and there's more that I want to do in my career," Britt told reporters.

"I'm going into my seventh year, I feel I let myself down the last six years. I have a chip on my shoulder this year and I've got a lot to prove."

Britt has recorded 205 receptions for 3,198 yards and 22 touchdowns in his six years in the NFL.
