Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is hopeful that his long-term future with the club will be secured soon, although he has conceded that he has moved teams before.
The 26-year-old is entering the final year of his rookie deal with the NFC West side, and has yet to come to terms with the club over a long-term contract, despite the high level of his play in his three-year career.
Wilson moved during his college days from the North Carolina State Wolfpack to the Wisconsin Badgers to gain further attention from NFL teams, and he has admitted that his experience of the move has instilled a no-fear approach over negotiations.
He told The Adam and Joe Show: "At the end of the day I trust the process. I know God's going to take me and put me where he wants to have me. I hope that's Seattle.
"I love it there, it's a great place. But I've also gone through the ups and downs and been moved around before. I loved N.C. State and loved playing there and then having to go somewhere else and start new.
"I ultimately, I know mentally and physically and spiritually I'm prepared for whatever. Every day I'm going to go to work. I'm not the kind of person that's going to hold out or do any of that, because I want to be the best player I can be. I want to try to improve on the field."
Wilson recently took out an injury insurance policy to cover himself ahead of the 2015 season due to his relatively low salary for the upcoming campaign.
