Five-star Russell Wilson guides Seattle Seahawks to victory over Baltimore Ravens

The Seattle Seahawks win their fourth game on the bounce as Russell Wilson throws five touchdowns to guide his team to a crushing 35-6 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

The visitors took the lead when Wilson continued his fine form to loft the ball to the back of the endzone for the run of Tyler Lockett for an eight-yard touchdown, but the Seahawks did lose the services of starting running back Thomas Rawls due to injury.

The Ravens responded through a field goal from Justin Tucker from 28 yards after a series of promising runs from Javorius Allen.

However, the Seahawks overcame an error from DuJuan Harris to extend their advantage when Wilson threw his second touchdown of the game to Doug Baldwin on a crossing route.

Baltimore hit back seconds before the break when Jimmy Clausen sent a deep pass for Kamar Aiken to put the home side in the range of Tucker, who nailed his kick from 30 yards.

In the third quarter, Pete Carroll's men took control of the contest as Wilson found Baldwin for the second time in the match with a pass over the middle to extend their lead to 15 points.

Wilson threw his fourth strike of the match to all but secure the win for the Seahawks when he picked out Lockett over the top to race into the endzone for a 49-yard score.

Seattle poured further misery on the Ravens when Wilson and Baldwin connected for the third time in the match as the wideout beat his man to leave himself wide open in the endzone to collect the quarterback's 16-yard pass.

The win improves the Seahawks' record to 8-5 with their fourth win on the bounce to leave them in the fifth seed in the NFC, while the Ravens were officially eliminated from the post-season as a result of their defeat.
